Ik ben echt reuzebenieuwd.

Ken de clubregelementen... Als Honda het beestje Africa Twin gaat noemen (en die kans is gezien de nieuwe naamregistratie in de VS groot) mag 'ie er zonder Bijzondere Algemene Ledenvergadering gewoon bij. Net zoals de Varadero XL125V die meelift op de naam van zijn grote broer.  ;D

Zou impliceren als er een grote toerfiets uit zou komen met de naam 'Africa Twin' we een leuk dilemma krijgen...

This prototype has been developed to deliver outstanding off-road capability, and could provide the basis of a true round-the-world motorcycle. It’s flanked by the current Team HRC CRF450 Rally and, paying respect to Honda’s competition legacy, the 1989 Paris-Dakar winning NXR Africa Twin ridden by Gilles Lalay.
No further technical details or information on either the road going RC213V-S Prototype or True Adventure prototype are available at this time.

Iemand belangstelling voor een 2012 Honda XL1000V Varadero L'iseran met 18.000 km op de klok?  ;D

Ik ben ontzettend benieuwd naar de eerste tests. het ziet eruit als een machine die de KTM het verrekte lastig gaat maken.

Dat wordt dus weer ruzie thuis deze week.....

Moeilijk iets van te zeggen zo, veel te vuil. Op het eerste zicht valt het nog mee. Vast zadel. Ben benieuwd naar de zithoogte en breedte van het zadel, vooral vooraan, of ik met mijn voeten aan de grond kom. Ook naar het gewicht ben ik benieuwd. En alle andere specs uiteraard ook.
Zo'n camo-kleur vind ik maar niets. Beetje frisser honda-kleuren mag wel.

Planning:

Maart / April 2015: press test release in Marokko
September 2015: dealer.

Die foto's zijn al beter. Ziet er ni slecht uit, buiten de kleuren.
En hopelijk is de ABS uitschakelbaar.
